About the role
PacyNet Technologies Limited is inviting applications for a Volunteer Graphic Designer to contribute to the visual development of our growing technology company. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity designed for a creative who wants to apply their skills to real-world technology brands, public communication and digital products while building meaningful professional experience. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON You may contribute to social media graphics, campaign materials, presentation and pitch-deck visuals, website and digital product assets, posters, banners, infographics, announcements and other brand communication materials. You will work within PacyNet's established visual direction and help maintain consistency in typography, layout, composition, spacing and overall brand presentation. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are interested in designers who demonstrate strong visual judgement, attention to detail, reliability and the ability to translate ideas into clear professional communication. Formal design qualifications are welcome but are not mandatory; the quality of your work and your ability to execute matter more. Experience with tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva or comparable design software is useful. Applicants should be comfortable receiving feedback, working independently and collaborating within defined brand guidelines. WHO THIS MAY SUIT This opportunity may be suitable for graphic design students, emerging designers building their portfolios, freelance designers interested in technology, or creatives seeking practical experience contributing to an African technology company. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS Your application should include a short introduction explaining your interest in the role, your current availability and the design tools you are comfortable using. Please upload your current CV or resume and provide a link to your strongest public work or professional profile. This may be a Behance, Dribbble, LinkedIn, personal portfolio website or equivalent link. If shortlisted, PacyNet may request a short design exercise relevant to the role. Evaluation work will be used for assessment purposes and should not be treated as commissioned client work. VOLUNTEER NOTICE This position is unpaid and applicants should apply with a clear understanding of the volunteer nature of the engagement. Participation does not guarantee future paid employment. PacyNet may require volunteers to sign appropriate confidentiality or non-disclosure documentation where their work involves non-public company information. PacyNet does not charge applicants any fee to apply for this opportunity.
