PNT-JOB-2026-0003Remote / FlexibleVolunteer

About the role

PacyNet Technologies Limited is inviting applications for a Volunteer Video Editor / Digital Content Creator to support the production of high-quality visual content for our public digital channels. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity for a creative individual who enjoys turning ideas, footage, graphics and approved company information into clear, engaging and professional digital content. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON You may help edit short-form and long-form video, prepare social media reels and clips, create motion-based digital content, assemble product or company explainers, edit event or interview footage, prepare subtitles and captions, adapt existing visual assets for video, and support content campaigns across PacyNet's public channels. You may also work with the Social Media Manager and Graphic Designer to ensure that video, graphics, copy and publishing formats remain visually consistent across platforms. CONTENT QUALITY AND BRAND RESPONSIBILITY PacyNet uses a controlled public-disclosure approach. All public-facing content must be based on approved information and must not reveal confidential, unreleased, commercially sensitive or technically detailed information about PacyNet products, architecture, internal operations, partners or strategy. The Video Editor / Digital Content Creator will be expected to follow approved brand direction, protect source materials and maintain a professional standard across pacing, sound, typography, transitions, captions, aspect ratios and final exports. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone with strong visual judgement, attention to detail and practical editing ability. Formal qualifications are welcome but are not mandatory; demonstrated creative ability and reliable execution matter more. Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, After Effects, Canva, Adobe Express or comparable editing and content-production tools is useful. You should understand how content requirements differ across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube and short-form vertical video channels. WHO THIS MAY SUIT This opportunity may suit media, film, communications, marketing or design students; emerging video editors; content creators; motion designers; or self-taught creatives seeking practical experience contributing to a growing African technology company. APPLICATION INFORMATION Applicants should provide a short introduction explaining their interest in the role, their current availability and the editing or content-production tools they are comfortable using. Applicants are strongly encouraged to provide links to their strongest video, motion or digital content work. This may include a YouTube channel, Instagram or TikTok account, Behance portfolio, personal website, Google Drive showcase or another accessible portfolio source, together with a current CV or resume where available. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to complete a brief role-relevant assessment using supplied non-confidential material. Assessment work is for recruitment evaluation and is not commissioned client work. VOLUNTEER NOTICE This position is unpaid and applicants should apply with a clear understanding of the volunteer nature of the engagement. Participation does not guarantee future paid employment. PacyNet may require volunteers to sign appropriate confidentiality or non-disclosure documentation where their responsibilities involve non-public company information. PacyNet does not charge applicants any fee to apply for this opportunity.
